About Mrs. Hemingway

Hello & thank you for joining me here.

Ernest Hemingway (of no relation I should mention, just a beneficial & wonderful coincidence of name) famously said "The world breaks everyone, & afterward, many are strong at the broken places." For most of my life I have avoided my broken places, learning only recently strength cannot come from avoidance.  If we are to truly be made strong, we must confront every one of our bends and breaks without fear and often repeatedly. Then these cracks can propel us forward instead of, as they so often do, holding us back.  This space is my attempt to traverse the crags and emerge victorious; to share the sharp edges—not to round them—but rather to hold them without hurt.

I (attempt to) view the world unapologetically through a lens faith & love.  I am here to share my stories & thoughts, in hopes you may find some solace in your own struggles, and examine your broken pieces until there is strength.

With love,

-Mrs. Hemingway
